Arrival by train

Aachen main station (Aachen Hauptbahnhof) is conveniently connected to the stations in Cologne and Düsseldorf via ICE, IC and regional trains. Please check www.bahn.de for timetables and tickets.

Note: It is not usual in Germany to buy train tickets on-board. You are supposed to buy your ticket at the station or online before boarding.

 

Aachen main station is also connected to the Thalys high speed train from Paris via Brussels.
